Co-financing project for small and medium-sized enterprises
If you are an active entrepreneur and want to improve your business through marketing services, the agency “Do business in Georgia” with the support of the World Bank offers a new project. Within the framework of the project, small and medium-sized enterprises have the opportunity to receive co-financing of up to 10,000 GEL to receive services from marketing companies selected by the agency.
To participate in the project you need:
- Contact the Regional Consulting Center of the “Do Business in Georgia” agency;
- Undergo an in-depth business diagnostic to determine your business needs;
- Select the appropriate consulting service;
- Receive up to 90% co-financing for services.
Participation criteria:
- You must be registered as a taxpayer for one calendar year prior to signing the contract;
- Be registered as a member of the Regional Counseling Center;
- The income received by the business during the 12 months preceding the signing of the contract with the agency must be at least 30,000 GEL;
- You must not be a legal entity established with direct or indirect equity participation by the state and municipality, as well as JSC “Partnership Fund”;
- You must not be a legal entity established with equity participation by a Category I or II enterprise in accordance with the Law of Georgia on Accounting, Reporting and Auditing;
- You must not have any tax debts to the state (except if the payment of the tax debt has been deferred or the obligation to pay it has been suspended by law);
- You must not be registered in the debtors’ register;
- The activity must not be included in the list of restricted activities (see the appendix to the order).
Stages of using the service:
- The entrepreneur applies to his/her regional counseling center in person or online;
- Registers in the center’s online network and creates a personal space;
- Presents relevant documentation confirming compliance with the criteria;
- Undergoes business diagnostics with a center employee;
- After reviewing the diagnostic results, a list of necessary services is determined;
- If necessary, the entrepreneur selects appropriate consulting services from the agency’s partner organizations;
- A tripartite agreement is signed between the entrepreneur, the agency, and the selected consulting company.
